THE STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND CHARACTER WORK

The Repairers of the Breach , Restorers of Paths to Dwell In

This is a self-supportive ministry, established by the spirit of revival and reformation of true Seventh Day Adventism, resultant of the 1888 message of righteousness by faith as in the bible and presented by elders Waggoner and Jones and supported by the messenger of Jesus Christ, Ellen G. White.  The points of doctrines are:

                   1. Justification by Faith as creating change in us 

The character and work of those identified as “The Repairers of the Breach, Restorers of Paths to Dwell In” as in Isa.58:12, and expounded in the writings of the Messenger of God Ellen White, through the Spirit of Prophecy, outlines the purpose of all who are the company of Seventh Day Adventists that follow in the spirit of revival and reformation of the righteousness by faith foundation from 1888.

Thus The Repairers of the Breach, Restorers of Paths to Dwell In are not exclusive to one person or group of Adventists, but rather inclusive of all Seventh Day Adventists who identify with what is qualified by the witness of the testimony of the Spirit of Prophecy.

These statements on “Isa. 58:12” are given to the seventh day Adventist church, after the year 1888

  “This prophecy also applies in our own time. A breach was made in the law of God when the Sabbath was changed; but the time has come for that institution to be restored. The breach is to be repaired, and the foundation of many generations to be raised up. The Lord has His messengers, whom He bids to proclaim His law to be changeless in its character, as enduring as eternity.  {Signs of the Times, February 1, 1910 par. 13}.

REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH ARE reformers

“Here are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers, who will bear the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow themselves God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are earnestly engaged, in the sight of all the universe, in building up the old waste places. Who is it that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in?--It is God. Their names are registered in heaven as reformers, restorers, as raising the foundations of many generations.  {Review and Herald, October 13, 1891 par. 9} “

REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH believe in present truth

The Lord has sent us messages for this time, that will establish Christianity upon an eternal basis; and all who believe the present truth, must stand, not in their own wisdom, but in God's wisdom, and raise up the foundations of many generations; and they will be registered in the books of heaven as "repairers of the breach," the "restorer of paths to dwell in." {Review and Herald, December 13, 1892 par. 5}

REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH ARE TRUE MISSIONARIES, and medical workers

I cannot too strongly urge all our church members, all who are true missionaries, all who believe the third angel's message, all who turn away their feet from the Sabbath, to consider the message of the fifty-eighth chapter of Isaiah.  The work of beneficence enjoined in this chapter is the work that God requires His people to do at this time.

Testimonies for the Church vol.6:265

In this quotation the work we are to do is clearly defined as being medical missionary work. This work is to be done in all places. God has a vineyard; and He desires that this vineyard shall be worked unselfishly. No parts are to be neglected. The most neglected portion needs the most wide-awake missionaries to do the work which, through Isaiah, the Holy Spirit has portrayed:  Testimony to the church  {vol.8 218.3}
